The last time I went to Nam Kee was probably 5 years ago, when there was still long queue and the minimum waiting time to get a seat was 30 minutes. 5 years later, I decided to visit this place again because I really miss the food there! But I was greatly disappointed by the standard of the food served now as I grew up having the chicken rice here for lunch with my family every Sunday. The chicken no longer taste tender and fresh, it carries a weird taste for both roast and steam chicken a like.

This is the only dish that is palatable. The fried tofu is slightly above average, not the best I've had. Comparing this to what they used to serve, this is a substandard.

Deep fried prawn. There was totally no "wok hei" fragrance even though it's deep fried. The batter was bland.

Stir fried kai lan with garlic. just average.

I guess this is the last time I'll visit Nam Kee.
