I was shopping around takashimaya with my girlfriend when we spotted Sapporo petit doughnuts, she remembered her friend recommending the doughnuts to her. We bought a packet of 8 doughnuts. They just nice had 8 flavours so we took one of each. in my opinon, the nicer ones which suited my appetite was the cream cheese, kaya, red bean and dragon fruit. The dragon fruit was a unique flavour, the paste they used was not very smooth, it had this grainy taste like they blended the dragon fruit. It was on the sweet side but dragon fruit is naturally sweet so I guess they did not add any sugar. The red bean one was good, the filling was a lot and practically oozes out of the doughnut. The red bean was cooked till very soft and mushy, just the way I like it. The cream cheese was nice too, it was not the savoury side, the cheese was really smooth and was rather gooey. The kaya they used was the hainanese kaya, it was very fragrant. The doughnut itself was very chewy and had this fragrant. It was pretty good.
