We decided to pop by Drips at tiong bahru for desserts after our pre-father's day dinner. Next up was the lemon tart which i felt wasn't fantastic. Decent but nothing to rave about. Perhaps the lemon curd didn't seem to sit very well with the buttery base somehow.
Another interesting dessert we had was the gula malaka avacado chocolate cake. We liked how the avacado cream added a pretty unique flavour to the cake. And the flavours blended pretty well. Best part was the base of the cake was a crunchy chocolate bottom which was my favourite part of the cake
Last item for the evening was the Creme Brulee . It was creamy and had a strong vanilla flavour to it.
Drips is a nice cosy chill out place in general and I would love to drop by some day and try more of their fruit tarts
