Durian lovers should not miss the Durian Fiesta 2012 (1 March - 31 July) at Good Wood Park Hotel. You can dine in at the Deli, or take away like what we just did. The cappuccino layer is so smooth and it's the first time I encountered how well coffee and durian taste together. This year, there are two new creations! Durian Banana Chocolate Mousse Cake is one of the star. The cake is filled with layers of D24 durian mousse and pulp, together with the rich chocolate sponge and caramelized bananas, so beautifully done! Another new stuff is the Durian Macadamia Nut Crumble Tartlet. The mini tart is filled with the creamy D24 durian pulp, and then covered with a crunchy macadamia nut crumble. Its crunchy with nut taste at the first bite, then overwhelmed with the durian flavour! How could one resists this! Finally this combo also consists of 2 Signature Durian Puffs, very yummy, and indeed an all time favourite!
