Boss is treating us lunch and he brought us to a very remote place for cheap and good food. This place is located in the most remote part of Tampines off the main road behind a chinese temple. They claimed that this is prepared Pontian style with lotsa fried tau kee as topping. The soup base was flavorful, pork ribs were tender but I still prefer the Port Klang style ones with taupok, pig intestines, pork belly etc. Overall, an ok dish.
This was very good, serving portion of the fish head is huge. The assam gravy was thick and very tangy, I would've prefer it to be spicier though...but still nice.
This is alright, pork ribs are tender and had hints of coffee flavor...not too bad.
They serve a choice of plain rice or yam rice, I opted for yam rice. It was pretty good with lotsa yam cubes and hae bee inside.
