Quick lunch I had at Golden Mile Food Centre, place was crowded indeed during peak lunch hours. To order, I joined the queue and picked dishes I wanted to eat. Good portion of plain rice given, portion was rather huge. Taste wise, dishes were all above average. Sweet and Sour pork was tender without gristly bite, not overcooked while pleasant fragrance. Tofu in flavourful gravy was not that oily, most likely a healthier option. Long beans were stir-fried along minced pork, slight peppery was light yet decent savoury. Both dishes were homely delightful, saltiness was all right. Everything was perfectly delicious when accompanying rice, best eaten while it was still hot. Price at $3.00 was definitely reasonable, essentially to fill up my satisfaction.
