Imperial treasure has the best egg tarts in Singapore the pastry itself is so crisp and crunchy with great flavour. It's unlike regular egg tarts with flaky pastry. Instead the pastry is like a sweet crust dough tasting almost like a yummy biscuit. The custard is just sweet enough not too sweet but sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. The eggy flavour goes perfectly with the delicate crust. It's best when it's freshly made just out of the afternoon but is good when cold too!
