I think Dian Xiao Er has improved over the years with their duck serving portion. It was having a promo for lunch then, and we opt for the promo set which we can opt to buy an abalone at $2.99 each. Sound like a great deal isnt it?But it was so disappointing that the so called abalone is only slightly bigger than a fifty cents coin. Pictures from the banner was rather misleading. Well, we dont expect much from a $2.99 abalone anyway. The sets includes a portion of their signature ducks, kailan, ee

Infact all of the dishes taste quite normal to me with the exception of the duck.
The portion was bigger than what we expected. Skin was crispy and not oily, duck was juicy and the sauce is rather unique and special.
Overall I guess only their duck is passable there. The rest, nothing special.
