Found the local delight when hanging around at Takashimaya, I was surprised there was affordable meal here. Just like normal foodcourt, Food Village was built up by handful stalls with different cuisines. Having longest queue, I insisted good food is worth the wait. Stick to the stall, we finally ordered two different dishes. I ordered Char Kway Teow and Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodles for him, both were mouth-watering in appearance. Kway Teow was slightly sweet with the darkening sauce added, taste was fragrantly nice. Little smoky, yet it was not overcooked or oily mushy. Ingredients were generously given, mixed well with Kway Teow generally. Sharing the food, I got to try noodle too. Infused into rich starchy gravy, mee on the other hand remained springy. Spicy sambal and dash of lime gave additional mark to overall, heavenly slurping good plate. Perfectly gooey texture, cubes of pork added along also. Simple yet delicious, I actually like two of them. Definitely not overpriced, they were costed $5.00 each.
