I went to Vivo City after project work tonight to have a dinner with my friends.We went for a trial to Fig & Olive. I picked the table at the middle facing the bar. I ordered the Seafood Carbonara. I am quite surprised that my soup and pasta came within 5 mins. However, that's just the beginning of my nightmare, soup is super salty and the pasta was not hot at all as if it is not being cooked. I am quite surprised that my soup and pasta came within 5 mins. However, that's just the beginning of my nightmare, soup is super salty and the pasta was not hot at all as if it is not being cooked. The sauce was just slight warmer than the pasta. Apparently, these are precooked and put aside for a long time. Well, to me, that's fine as I know a lot of shop and hawker center stall will do that BUT before they serve these to customer, they will re-heat the pasta with the sauce and have it stir fry in the fried-pan.
It really does not worth my penny.
