FoodA fusion of French and japanese cuisine. Ordered the Ginerale and orange at $4.00 Each. The thought of eating snail makes me irks. But after much consideration and the thought of many reviews mentioning a must try, I finally decide to have one plate and a try. Comes with 6 pieces of escargots with garlic butter at $9.80. Not much sticky smell but it tastes like mussels. The part where the staff light up the fire at the base of the plate and the part where we have to handle and grab the escarg
A fusion of French and japanese cuisine.
Ordered the Ginerale and orange at $4.00 Each.
Presentation to the pies on the plate were great, with some coco powder sprinkled by the side. The Mount Blac pie comes with a chestnut on the top and the base is good with biscuits. Not too sweet and everything to my liking.
The staff will give u a keychain and refer you to the counter for payment with this.
Service experienced is better than average. Ma Maison staff has the capability of handling customers well despite the long queue outside. Customers were given seats and menu while waiting and staff will verbally mention the estimated waiting time to everyone. As for food serving, staff are very polite and courteous. Even the cashier, he seems friendly. The culture built in by Ma Maison was united and heart warming, once you step into the shop and stand up from your seat to the cashier, they will give a warm greeting to welcome and thank you respectively.
Ambience
Well lited under the dim orangy lightings, the place was made comfortable with some rustic looking furniture and surroundings were decorated by some old pots and pans. By the windows, you can see a panoramic view of Singapore River, it will be better if one can enjoy its dinner by the side of the windows.
Price
Pricing is rather affordable.
