It was one of those mornings that i went crazily looking for something comforting to warm a stomach on a cold day. The only reason to be at this food centre is always for my favorite mee pok dry. And today was one of those irregular days that the stall happened to be closed. I went hunting for an alternative and spotted this fish soup stall. The turnover rate for stalls at this food centre is pretty high and this fish soup stall is amongst one of those longest surviving stalls in this food centr
I went hunting for an alternative and spotted this fish soup stall. The turnover rate for stalls at this food centre is pretty high and this fish soup stall is amongst one of those longest surviving stalls in this food centre. For that, this stall is definitely worth trying.
For $4.00, i have gotten a few small pieces of fried fish with tofu, veggies and chinese seaweed. The soup was clear with only a slight peppery taste. It can be very healthy tasting if you are happened to be one of those health conscious ones and for those prefer their foods to be a little more exciting, it tasted pretty bland.
All in all, it was an acceptable lunch experience. But no, i might not go back again as i still prefer to go back to my regular stall at Amoy Street Food Centre if i want a fix of fish soup and rice. It might be worth a try if you are in this food centre and not knowing what to eat.
