Had a late lunch at CPK after church. When my friend and I got there, we asked for a table but there weren't any available yet. We were the only ones in the queue so we asked if we could just wait inside as weather was hella hot (it was 2pm so sun was really up). However one of their waiters, who wasn't even the manager, told us to wait outside! Grrr...It was a good thing that we got a table inside the restaurant after a few minutes of waiting outside. Anyway, we ordered the Tortilla Spring Roll
It was a good thing that we got a table inside the restaurant after a few minutes of waiting outside. Anyway, we ordered the Tortilla Spring Rolls for our appetiser. There are 3 flavours and you can choose 2. We opted for the Baja chicken and the Meditteranean rolls. Flavour was quite unique in the sense that it doesn't just give you the same bland taste. The ingredients meshed with each other so well and came up with a dish that was very intriguing to the palate. The guacamole and chili dips also added to the appetiser's character. As soon as we cleaned our plates, this waiter who made us wait outside took the dish (including the dips) without even asking us! I told him: WE STILL NEED THE DIPS for we wanted to try it out with the Greek Pizza and the Broccoli and Sundried tomato pasta. Gosh, he didnt even ask us if he could clear that appetiser plate. SO irritating.
Now back to the main courses. The pasta was very light because it was only cooked with vegetables, tomato, and olive oil. It was a simple dish yet very memorable. The Greek pizza was very filling topped with a cucumber and so many other ingredients I couldn't remember. But what stuck in my mind was that the pizza was your not so ordinary pizza which you can order at any other restaurants. Yum!
