There was a long queue forming from this stall on a saturday lunch time, and I decided to join in to see how the food was. I ordered a bowl pork dao xiao mian (knife shaved noodles) ($6). The dish is named as such because the noodles are actually clumps of flour shaved haphazardly by the chef, achieving an irregular, thick kind of noodles. The cooked noodles was actually not bad; it was not too overcooked, so it still retained some bite, chewiness to it. The soup had a nice hearty, herbal taste

The cooked noodles was actually not bad; it was not too overcooked, so it still retained some bite, chewiness to it. The soup had a nice hearty, herbal taste to it which I really enjoyed. The pork slices, though not as generous as I wished it to be, were nonetheless tender and flavourful. I enjoyed my bowl of noodles, although I had to wait quite a while for my turn.
