Was looking for a coffee place after shopping at takashimaya and remembered that I wanted to visit Paul's after reading an article abt it being a famous french bakery and the bf being french.. decided to come here to take a look.. Was looking for a coffee place after shopping at takashimaya and remembered that I wanted to visit Paul's after reading an article abt it being a famous french bakery and the bf being french.. decided to come here to take a look..

Decor was cool (sorry no photos) but the bf was commenting abt the funny indoor terrace that they try to replicate of France.. and playing old french music in the restaurant was a bit too much for him.. lol..

Was quite excited abt the menu because i remembered how i had loved the french pastries when we were in france.. too bad i was too full from lunch to eat so I had a cappuccino, which was quite basic.. and the bf took the chocolate viennoiserie (chocolate drink with whipped cream.. totally rich and yummy! )

We took Millefeuilles au chocolate as a small dessert (just to eat for the sake of eating there) and was very rich.. I doubt i will be able to eat the whole thing on my own.. but was good nonetheless.. by the way the name of the pastry means thousand layers.. abit like our chinese kueh.. lol.. so its made of pie-like pastry with choclate mousse in it.. quite messy to cut and eat though.. would really love to go back there for a proper meal.. but its not cheap lo!!
