The wanton noodle is definitely one of the better ones. This brand is found in most of the heartland malls, and you cannot go wrong with it. I like the fried wanton best. It is very crispy but not oily. A nice contrast with the softer noodles. The wanton does not lose its crispiness even after finishing the noodles, since I have a habit of leaving one or two wanton to the last. The char siew is sweet and tender, not too much fats in it. The char siew is sweet and tender, not too much fats in it.
The black sauce for the noodle is sweet and salty, but not too salty. I prefer my noodles slighty moist, and so I tend to add some soup to it. It tastes just as good, without diluting the sauce too much.
The default order has a mixture of fried and boiled wanton. The serving is quite small, leaving you with enough space for desserts.
