My mother-in-law is a vegetarian, so we brought her to this vegetarian restaurant located at Quality Hotel to have buffet dinner to celebrate her birthday. Their buffet spread consists of: drinks( hot and cold),hot food section,a live laksa and chicken rice section, soup section and dessert section.
To my surprise, their laksa and chicken rice taste so close to non-vegetarian version, laksa gravy was thick and fragrant and the chicken rice chilli went well with the vegetarian chicken pieces. Oh, so sorry that I forgot to take pictures to show you all because did not plan to write review on vegetarian food at first.
For the dessert section, ice-cream and red bean soup was available on that day. I like the red bean soup, it was cooked with 桂皮, the fragrant of these makes the red bean soup very delicious.
Probably because I am a meat eater, I find the rest of the hot food taste ok only, not to my liking, but it is ok to eat it once in a while to "cleanse our body".
A mixed of hot food items.
