If you are craving for some good Chinese food in a descent hotel atmosphere, Xin Cuisine Restaurant at Holiday Inn Atrium could be a good choice. We ordered quite a few dishes during our first visit to the restaurant. Barbecued suckling pig ($30/portion) is their signature appetizer. The Combination of chicken and duck ($22/small) is lacking of 'wow' factor though. The roasted duck is well-done and juciy; the chicken is sauteed with celery in a special sauce.

The Sauteed fresh scallop with Hong Kong kai lan and bell pepper ($28/small) is quite a beautiful dish. The scallop is so fresh that it retains the natural seafood sweetness, and the young kai lan are crunchy. Dried shrimps enhances the whole flavour of this dish too.

We did not have rice, but ordered the Braised ee-fu noodle ($18/small). The noodles is braised with waxed sausage, roast pork, diced shrimp, mushroom and chives. Very rich in flavour, though I find it slightly too oily for me.

The dessert is the star of the meal! We ordered the Fried sesame balls ($8/ portion - 4 pieces).

The sesame balls contain the filling of red bean and liqueur chocolate filling! When you bite on it, you will first taste the crispiness and aromatic sesame, after which the liqueur bursts in and attack every single taste buds of yours! It's good I tell ya!!
