This restaurant is located just opposite Great World City. This place has a rustic look. Traditional, yet uncluttered. For photos of the exterior and interior of this place, visit their website. I will provide my honest, unbiased review of what I had here. This place offers both set meals and a la carte. They have friendly and courteous staff. You can dine inside or alfresco. Chilled plain water is provided. Service was OK. Why? Though the place was not too crowded, we did not get one of the dish
This place offers both set meals and a la carte. They have friendly and courteous staff. You can dine inside or alfresco. Chilled plain water is provided. Service was OK. Why? Though the place was not too crowded, we did not get one of the dishes we had ordered. When we reminded the waitress, she checked with the kitchen and told us it was not ready. Thus, we had to cancel the order for that dish. It was Sayur Lodeh. Small matter.
The serving in itself is unique. Normally, the rice is scooped in a bowl and takes that shape. For the first time, I saw a different presentation. This portion is more than enough for one person.
Had the essential flavours and taste of coconut and rendang paste. However, this is not the best I have tasted.
If you do not like drumsticks, stay away from this dish. It was quite sweet for us. I did not like this.
