My friends and I missed having Pinoy food so bad that we had to meet up and eat at Gerry's Grill. In the Philippines, this is a popular restaurant which serves the best of Philippine cuisine. We ordered the Pork Sisig, Pork Sinigang, and the Chopped Vegetables. Hmm. Service took quite a while but I guess it's because the place was packed! As for the food, when it arrived on our table, they were already a bit cold. But still, the pork sisig was still tasty though not as crispy as I hoped it to be. The Pork Sinigang's soup was just soo sour, I LOVE IT! They were also generous with the vegetables and the pork meat.
The chopsuey or the chopped vegetables were crunchy. It wasn't too overcooked to the point of the veggies being soggy and gross.
Overall, from the restaurant ambience down to the food, I would say that it comes close to the restaurant we have back in the Philippines. Price also is reasonable so all's good.
