Red Star Restaurant has been around for ages. It even dates back to my grandfather's time. Having heard so much about the restaurant, I jumped at the opportunity when my boss wanted to have a team lunch there.Fresh succulent prawns were used for this har gao (prawn dumpling). This taste like the longer and wetter version of the siew mai. Haven't quite figured out what it is but the sogginess made it easy to swallow.

I love the cheong fun! It is so soft that the piece of flour simply melts in my mouth the moment I put it in. The sauce that comes with the cheong fun was also provided sparingly...my cheong fun seems to be swimming in the sauce. Recommended!!!

I love roast pork with crispy skin. Not a big fan of char siew so I only took one piece and the meat got stuck to my teeth. Didn't like it. But the roast pork was good. The skin was crispy and I could have just sat there and finish the entire dish.

The mango fritters taste yummy also. Not too sweet and easy for my mouth.

The fried rice taste yummy. It has alot of ingredients included like salted fish, egg, green pea, carrot. I think there's more ingredients than white rice.
