I happened to be there at about 5 pm and about half of the stalls in this food centre have already closed so i was left with very limited choices. The wanton mee from this famous stall was a choice out of convenience. I was given the option from $3 to $8 for selection. I wanted the $3 portion to take away. The mee kia was slightly thicker than others. It was cooked well to give it a delightful chewiness at just the right softness. It tasted really good after tossed well with the sauce underneath. I requested to have an extra amount of chilli added and it tasted really nice. I particularly enjoyed the wantons. It was rather plump with well-seasoned minced meat as its filling. This is definitely one of the better wanton mee around.
