My friend brought me to this newly opened branch of The Halia at Raffles Hotel. Ambience was great and it wasn't crowded on a saturday night. I had the Halia Chilli Crab Spaghettini ($25), one of their signature dishes, which was great - it was very mildly spicy, and the I loved the thin spaghettini; chilli crab sauce was also well done. I also tried the Polenta coated asparagus ($9) - it's a side and fried till crispy; goes well with the lemon mayo that comes with it. There's the Pan Seared Kin

There's the Pan Seared Kingfish ($27) served rare - the fish itself was very fresh, but I didn't quite like the sauce which was too sour for my liking; this is a new dish though, so they sought feedback about it. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will be back for more.
