Esplanade is normally a dead town during weekends if there is no performance outside. But last weekend was filled due to the IT show. Haagen daz and the cafe opposite is amazingly empty. Had the sofa seat and was also entertained by 2 performers with face painting whose walking around Esplanade to promote art? Nearly had a scare though, if the friend opposite me did not warn me. Had their 3 scoops plus a waffle. It was quite a wait for the waffle but it was worth it as it is crispy and soft, and

Had their 3 scoops plus a waffle. It was quite a wait for the waffle but it was worth it as it is crispy and soft, and the overall taste is good, but the small piece of waffle is very expensive, it cost $5 for a 3 inch square waffle.
Took a risk and tried their green tea, as most places do their green tea sweet. But Haagen Daz's green tea is bittersweet. Am pleased with it. As for macadamia nut ice cream, it was a tad too sweet.
Overall, the experience is not bad.
