Hachi is a nice and spartan Japanese dining establishment which used to be housed at Orchard Emerald. It used to specialise in omakase dinner sets but after shifting out, chef Watanabe has created ala carte menus and opened the door for lunch as well so now you can see a lot of the senior office crowd coming in at lunch time.

The omakase doesn't actually use very fancy ingredients but the chef's execution in preparing is very good and you will feel contented after eating. However I have noticed that service standards and quality of food can be inconsistent at times so be warned, you may not find it value for money.
