It was a good feeling to meet this couple again right at this food centre selling the handmade hainanese style puffs. I was eager to have a little chat with them but they were too busy making the puffs right behind.
I ordered a Curry Potato Puff for $1.20. The first impression was the size of this curry puff is a little smaller as compared to other puffs out there in the same price range. The crust was rather thin. The level of spiciness was a little spicier but i enjoyed it pretty much. The puff might be smaller in size but it was filled with a good amount of potatoes and chicken pieces as well as a slice of boiled egg.
All the puffs are handmade daily to ensure its freshness.
An ideal snack for afternoon break to go with tea or coffee.
