District 10 Bar & Restaurant is located at the corner of Star Vista Mall at street level along a quiet lane Vista Exchange Green. It has an alfresco seating area comprising rows of benches & tables facing a large flat screen tv tuned to a cable sports channel. If there are no smokers in your group head over to the cosy aircon interiors which is more comfortable & has better ambience, with shelves of wine & spirits against wood panelled walls & shielding part of the glass partition overlooking an access corridor.

District 10 is famous for its tapas (appetizers or 'side plates') and pinchos (Spanish style open faced sandwiches ie thickly sliced rustic baguettes with savoury toppings). The tapas are priced from $5.80++ while the pinchos are priced from $3.50++. Those who avoid carbohydrates in the evening will prefer to snack on tapas; about four or five tapas should be filling enough for a light meal. Those who cant survive without carbohydrates will need to order a combination of tapas and pinchos - three or four items should suffice depending on whether one is a small or big eater. The pinchos are good but not outstanding. The parma ham pinto, smoked salmon pinto & prawn cocktail pinto were moreish (see photos). The spicy chorizo sausage was more salty than spicy. It is served with Manchego cheese but if you prefer a milder tasting cheese you can ask for it to be replaced with cheddar which IMHO pairs better with the chorizo.

We did not get to try their famous black angus sliders, crab cakes & patatas because the main kitchen that does these items starts operations after 6:30pm. Prior to that in the late afternoon the only tapas available were the cold cuts, cheeses & marinated olives which we did not fancy.

While the tapas and pinchos are the highlights of District 10 Restaurant, the menu offers diners a fair choice of entrees from fish & chips, ribeye & tenderloin to wagyu meatballs, pastas & pizzas. During Happy Hour which ends at 8pm, alcoholic beverages including beer cost from $7++. The staff are cheerful & proactive without being obtrusive. Great place to unwind, though food prices are on the high side.
