Taka Food Hall has several food stalls and small restaurants, particularly Japanese restaurants. While wandering about, I saw a stall with bento sets on display (those possibly made from plastic kind but still resemble the real thing to some extent). With my curiosity piqued, I decided to have lunch there. My friend and I placed our orders first and waited for seats. The staff ensured that the food was served only after we were seated.I loved the overall presentation of the meal, very appealing

I loved the overall presentation of the meal, very appealing aesthetically. I had the fish with red bean rice set and it came with miso soup, and a small bowl of salad (the set cost around $12.90). The fish is very fresh and so it did not need much seasoning and the rice tasty, dotted with, of course, red beans. It has quite a sticky texture to it.

Given the price paid, I had say it’s a good deal and would go back for more. Yummy and affordable Japanese cuisine.
