I always have to make a special effort to eat here as this place is rather out of the way; it is hidden away at the quiet corner of Thai Thong Crescent right beside the former Jackson Kopitiam. We went during lunch, the place was packed with the office workers and we waited for quite a while before secured a table for 2. I joined in the queue and waited for about 10 minutes before given my order. I paid a total of $11.20 for 2 bowls of prawn noodle with pork ribs together with a piece of fish ca
We went during lunch, the place was packed with the office workers and we waited for quite a while before secured a table for 2. I joined in the queue and waited for about 10 minutes before given my order. I paid a total of $11.20 for 2 bowls of prawn noodle with pork ribs together with a piece of fish cake. The fish cake is a must order item there and it is so good that almost every table ordered it.
I was given a number tag and this number would be flashed on their LED display to alert the customers to pick up their foods. The self-service is newly implemented. They did put up a notice apologising for implemented the self-service due to shortage of manpower.
For $5.00 a bowl, i was given a good portion of noodle, 2 pieces of pork ribs and 2 pieces of prawns. I always added a handful of chilli powder to enhance its flavor. Even with that amount of chilli powder added, the spiciness level is still pretty moderate, at least it is so for me.
Whenever i have gotten a craving for Prawn noodle, this place has always been one of my top choices.
It was a highly satisfactory lunch and left me feeling happy for the rest of the day.
