I really love the taste of the hokkien mee ($3) here as it had a homecooked taste. The taste of the noodles itself was a bit bland but compensated by the saltiness of the sambal chilli which was also not spicy. It tasted plain in a good way (homely feel) and it was also more watery than the average hokkien mee which I like.
