Can't really go wrong with this hokkien mee. It may not be the best in Singapore, but it's probably the best you can get in a food court.The whole package with air-con and the big glass cooking display is worth the money. The whole package with air-con and the big glass cooking display is worth the money. One of my top eats in wisma. This is one of the few stalls I'd return time and again when I eat at Food Republic). There is just something different with the way they fry their Hokkien Mee. Apparently, fresh prawn stock is used in the frying of the Hokkien Mee.
After enduring the long queue (the queue is always there), we got our medium serve of Fried Hokkien Mee. I have to say they are usually rather consistent, but this time round, it was a little too wet for my likings. However when I go in the evening, there isn’t any queue.
