Saturday was a hot day, so I wanted to buy some cooling dessert for my family.

Since I was at Chinatown, I decided to go to Er Gu Dessert to buy some desserts. The stall aunty was friendly recommending which dessert for cooling purposes.

The Almond & sesame paste had a nice aroma of almond but no sesame. The taste was also more of almond than sesame flavour. The paste was smooth and somewhat starchy.

The green bean soup smelled of dried orange peels. There was really dried orange peels in the soup. The green beans were boiled until the meat exploded out. The taste of the soup was sweet and some bitterly, sourish due to the dried orange peel.

Each cost $1.50 for dine in and $1.60 for takeaway.
