I quite like Ichiban’s unagi and egg dish. It costs below $15 and has a generous serving of rice, fried eggs and unagi pieces ontop. We also ordered a beef sukiyaki. The beef soup was a little bit too sweet, but my friend thought it was great. It comes with fatty beef slices, an assortment of vegetables, tofu, raw egg (don’t pour it in straight away because it will dissolve) and transparent noodles. The portion is large enough for girls not to order an extra bowl of rice to go with it.
