went to dine in at the newly renovated ichiban sushi @ ang mo kio hub on friday before 5pm with boyfriend. there wasn't any queue but the place was already full. waited for like 5 minutes to get a seat.the menu; the sushi menu; we ordered Ice Lemon Tea ($2.20++), Coke Light ($2.20++), 1 color plate - Tamago Sushi ($2.40++); Chicken Katsu Toji ($10.90++) with complete meal rice set which include miso soup, fruits and chawamushi ($3.50++) and lastly, Tori Curry Cheese Wazen ($16.90++) . . The tamago sushi taste delicious and presented in appealing manner. Chicken Katsu Togi taste abit salty because of the sauces, the whole serving is quite big. Chawamushi taste nice with mushroom, chicken and crab meat inside. Miso soup was abit salty to me but still acceptable. Tori Curry Cheese Wazen, the curry was very delicious with mixture of cheese may sounds weird but really excellent.
overall, if dinning at peak hours got to queue earlier as the queue sometimes can end up like 15-20 minutes waiting time. worth a visit if you haven.
