It has been quite awhile since I visited the outlet at Yishun10. For those who do not know about Arnold's Fried Chicken, it has been around for 26 years, more commonly known as the local's answer to KFC. Best of all it is Halal. There is another 3 outlets in Singapore: City Plaza, Hongang Green and Pasir Ris. The first thing I notice is that improvement has been made to the queuing system. The first thing I notice is that improvement has been made to the queuing system. The queue in front of the counter has a takeaway sign, while the queue opposite it has a dine in sign. So if one is planning to dine in, the staff would find a table for you before you could place your order at the counter. I order Ice Kacang but it is not available.

After paying for order at the counter, one is given a pagar to collect drinks at the collection counter when lights up, and sauce dishes to fill with sauces at the counter and you are showed to your table by the staff. Unique service at a fast food restaurant. Table is found for you. Another pagar is given to collect the food, after returning the first pagar to collect drinks.

The Spring Chicken Set ($11.90) comes with fries and coleslaw. The chicken is cut up and easy to pull apart. But beware that it is very hot. The meat is well seasoned and very tasty. I like the thin and crispy skin. There is also chicken pieces served here too.

Also have Mashed Potato ($3.20) to go with it, which tastes great.

As for drink, I have Bandung which costs $2.30 for large. Regular size costs $2.00. Soft drinks such as Pepsi costs the same.

There is a small handwash area, great for those who use bare hands on the finger-licking food. Overall the service is much improved, although the place is still quite crowded. If one plans to come here for dinner, I would suggest best before 6pm.
