Went to Jalan kayu for lunch on a Sunday with my family member. We ordered several dishes which include the chicken biriyani, Indian Rojak, plain prata as well as the masala thosai. First of all the biriyani is well cooked, has a soft and fluffy texture. As for the chicken, it has a very soft and tender texture and the chicken can be separated easily. The gravy is a bit too salty for me but goes well with the chicken as well as the rice. Next the Indian Rojak is quite similar to other Indian stalls. The rojak gravy is not spicy and has a slight sweet taste. Lastly, the serving of the masala thosai is sufficient for one person. The thosai also contain a lot of potato fillings. In addition, it comes with four different gravy to dip with the thosai. The waiting time is not too long and the price is quite reasonable as well. Overall, the quality of the food is still the same as before and will definitely come back again next time.
