I was back for the third time (actually fourth, the third time I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice again) to try out their Kong Poh Chicken with Rice (宫保鸡丁饭) ($5)... and my verdict? It is just as powerful, salty and fragrant as the Salted Egg Pork Ribs and Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice I had. The only difference is that it is generously cooked with dried chilli, but the spiciness feels fleeting: good for people who likes a bit of spiciness but not too much. Again I have the same grumble about the portion of rice that isn't enough! I am such a rice bucket D: I prefer this one to the Salted Egg Pork Ribs (their signature) because it is definitely less jelat and less overly salty like that one. I also like this one better for its less conventional flavour (unlike the tangy tomato sweet and sour flavour).

And yes, that puts this Kong Poh Chicken with Rice on the top of my list for New Station Snack Bar's menu!
Here's the rest of the menu anyway.

Again, the service is very efficient despite the crowds. There's a high turnover rate as it is a eat-and-go sort of place rather than an eatery for you to chit chat for a few hours.
