Another visit to Kim's. Whenever my family craves for Korean food, Kim's Family Restaurant comes to mind. This is the scallion with seafood pancake. It is chock full of spring onions and has some thick and juicy squid. It comes with some sort of soy sauce dip which makes the pancake pretty salty so I would suggest avoiding the dip. It is warm and crispy and actually makes for one meal on its own. Next, we had the Samgyetang which is basically Ginseng Chicken Soup. You get one small whole chicken

Next, we had the Samgyetang which is basically Ginseng Chicken Soup. You get one small whole chicken and there is glutinous rice stuffed in the chicken. The ginseng taste is not that strong and there are a lot of spring onions in the soup. Not a bad choice if you're craving for something that isn't too heavy, warm and soupy.

Lastly, we had the Japchae. This is a good vegan choice as the noodles is made of sweet potato. You get carrots, black fungi and a big pile of noodles that can easily feed 2 people. In my opinion, this japchae has more soy sauce taste than the one at Hansang (The Grandstand), which feels lighter. However, it is still a tasty dish.
