I happened to pass by Kuriya after 9pm and was delighted to see their sushi selling for a discount. So I decided to grab a few pieces of sushi for supper! A crowd started to gather as soon as the discount was made available and a queue started to form at the cashier. I think the discounted prices just kicked in when I was there, so I was fortunate to still have a wide variety of sushi to choose from. A crowd started to gather as soon as the discount was made available and a queue started to form at the cashier. I think the discounted prices just kicked in when I was there, so I was fortunate to still have a wide variety of sushi to choose from. I picked the usual tamago sushi, salmon sushi, egg roe, lobster salad, unagi sushi.The sushi were still fresh and very much more affordable since they were on discount. I was actually surprised that the servings of fresh fish, sushi toppings were not stingy at all and quite generous and fresh. The salmon sushi and unagi sushi were decent and fresh for a takeaway kiosk.
