I always liked to try different stalls in Hong Lim as there are a lot of stalls selling very nice food. Just yesterday, I had kway chap at Ah Heng Duck Rice. I was actually quite surprised that it sells kway chap, but my hubby said the kway chap is not bad, so I gave it a try.

I ordered the $4 portion with an extra kway as my hubby loves their kway. The $4 portion has pork belly, an egg, salted vegetable, tau pok and pork innards. The pork belly is really tasty with the fats which melt in your mouth. It is even better with their chilli. The ingredients are braised very well and not too overly salty. I also enjoyed the soup for the kway as it has a little herbal taste. The kway is also not too thick nor too thin such that it breaks easily. On the whole, I enjoyed it a lot.
