The ingredients for the kway chap set includes braised meat, egg, tau pok, fish cake, pig's stomach and intestines. I liked the pig's stomach and intestines best. They are cleaned well as there will be a bad odour if the stomach and intestines were not properly handled before cooking. The sauce is good and it seemed like there are herbs added to it and one of them seemed to be star anise. The chilli goes very well with the ingredients and I thought it would be good if they added some limejuice to the chilli. The soup base for the kway is very normal, nothing special about it. At $4.50 for a set, I think it is expensive.
