This Lai Lai outlet was at jurong point, b1. We went on a week day night so it s not very crowded, service was reasonably fast too. I ordered the beef noodle set that comes with pearl milk tea and a variety of side dishes of which I chose the salt peppered chicken. The whole restaurant is taiwanese inspired serving mostly traditional Taiwanese dishes. The pearl milk tea came first and was very good. Not too sweet and serving size was large too, they had either the green milk tea or red milk tea

Not too sweet and serving size was large too, they had either the green milk tea or red milk tea , of which i chose the green one. However I would have prefers more pearls. The salt peppered chicken came next and was quite similar to those you find from Taiwanese delicacy stores. This one tasted a little floury and oily though, and could have done with less oil, but otherwise still quite tasty. Lastly came the beef noodle with soup. The soup as wonderful and well flavoured with thick chucks of beef. this is probably the dish they are most famous for. The whole set was less than $15, a bargain!
