Before watching a movie, my girl friends and I decided to have lunch at Shokudo. It was a Good Friday and out of all the restos at Cineleisure, they had seats for us. So, I had the Prawn tempura omu rice...We were there at about 1 and movie would start at 250pm. We thought that lunch would be quick and we could still do some window shopping before the movie. BUT NO! it took us almost an hour for our order to come! I understand that it was a holiday and they were understaffed, but they could've done something about it. Seriously, byt the time the food arrived... i was starving.
As for the food, at least it was decent. generous portioining of rice, curry sauce, veggies, prawns, and egg. Even if I was hungry, I didn't even finish the whole meal..
But seriously, they need to improve their service... while waiting for the food, i saw other diners. half them also seemed to be pissed of from the long wait for the food. I think they need to hire more staff so they won't lose their customers...
