I've gone to sukiya about 10 times in the past year after discovering it early this year. My partner and I crave for it every week and it's nice as comfort food. There's not a lot of selection, but if you're carnivorous, this place is heaven. The meat slices are thin and of good quality and the soup bases are delicious. We love the sukiyaki soup base, but the kimchi base is not bad as well. We usually have sukiyaki for BOTH sides.

The ramen is delicious and al dente if you cook it right, and the meat cooks very quickly in the boiling soup because they're so thinly sliced. Fantastic with a bit of scrambled raw egg.

Golden mushroom is plenty and that's usually the only other thing we stock up on. The rest of the ingredients we usually don't care about because if you're looking to get your value, it's all in the meats.

During dinner, they provide ice cream as well so that's a much appreciated bonus!
