Lunch with Ivy on Sunday. We actually wanted to go to Botanic Gardens, but due to the heavy downpour, we decided to have lunch at JEM instead. Escagot with garlic herb butter is very garlicky but nice!
Ivy had Poulet Roti & she commented that the chicken is not as tender as compare to the one from Poulet.
I decided to be advantageous & try the Squid Ink pasta with scallop & flying fish roe. I requested for Fusilli but got spaghetti instead. Pasta was done al dente & the scallops are fat & juicy. Flying fish roe adds a little crunchiness to the pasta. Taste quite good, but slightly oily. **A word of caution.. .. do not eat this on your first date as your mouth & teeth will be stained with the squid ink
