Looking around for a place for lunch, we notice the 1-for-1 promotion at Pizza Hut. There is also lunch set promotion which includes a main course, drink and soup. After looking at the menu, I decide that having the Squid Ink Linguine lunch set has one of the best value. The Squid Ink Linguine costs $14.90++, but when order as a lunch set it costs $12.90++ and comes with drink and soup. The linguine is quite creamy and buttery, with juicy squid rings. The soup of the day is chicken soup and comes with shredded chicken and sweet corns. It tastes thick and creamy.

For the 1-for-1 promotion, we order

We have requested no onion in the Creamy Mushroom ($9.50++), but is still served with onions. There is still onions found in the second serving which we give up to tell the staff. The second serving is also much smaller than the first serving.

Also order a kid's meal for little JJ, but it is the last to be served. I suspect that the staff has forgotten about it. In the end, Dad has to go out to buy pancake for little JJ to eat as he is hungry and making a lot of noise. The staff still has the cheek to question me about buying outside food. The baked penne with creamy alfredo sauce is quite creamy and hot, topped with pineapples and chicken ham. It is served with a small glass of milo. This meal is free, with an order of a main dish.

Overall food is not bad but service is quite poor here. Total we spend $53.91
