This Ma La Hot Pot stall is definitely one of the most expensive I had been to. Even their vegetables cost $1.40 for 80g. The cheapest Ma La Hot Pot Stall that I went to had vegetables at $0.80 for 100g.
However, the plus point for this stall is that they keep all their food in these chillers for good hygiene and maintain freshness.
I picked some of the ingredients I like for a take away. Overall I feel that it's a little too oily, but most Ma La Hot Pot are like this.. which is why I usually prefer soup.
Their pot base charge is also slightly more expensive at $3 compared to $2 of most stalls that I had went to.
