I have always been a fan of bubble tea. Sometimes I would even drink it every day. Since SOD is just located near my place, I would pop by and grab myself their drink before heading home. I have always been pretty faithful to a certain drink, but this time round, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and grab myself a mango milk tea. It is not a very common drink in most bubble tea stalls so I was curious to see how it tasted. It was actually pretty refreshing. The staff who prepared the drink was pretty professional. The amount of mango flavouring they added to the drink was just right. It was not too overpowering such that it overpowers the fragrant tea smell. However, I found the mango flavor pretty familiar, tasted like those my mum would add to her jellies. The tea they used was the premium kind, you can somewhat taste the crisp of the tea leaves, it has this mellow sweetness and slight bitterness taste. The amount of milk powder that added to the mango milk tea was just right. It was not too milky that you can only taste the milk flavor. The milk taste goes really well with the mango, it had this mango milk kind of taste.

Despite serving pretty good drinks, I am not so impressed with the service. I noticed that there were at least five staffs in the stall but they were only two guys working – one making the drink, the other taking ordering and serving drink. The three remaining female staffs were actually standing at a corner talking among themselves. Maybe they were discussing work stuff but I think the efficiency of the drink preparations could improve if maybe one more person helped to prepare the drink, so us customers would not have to wait so long just to get a cup of drink.
