If you've read many reviews saying that MOS Burger only have great rice burgers, well this is one other review that tell you ALL their burgers are equally GREAT. Ordered my favourite Fish Burger for $3.75. This is about $0.45 more expensive than the one you have at McDonalds. To add a set meal (French Fries + Drink (Coke)), you have to top up about $3.90. Ordered my favourite Fish Burger for $3.75. This is about $0.45 more expensive than the one you have at McDonalds. To add a set meal (French Fries + Drink (Coke)), you have to top up about $3.90. Most people change to Ice Milk Tea, it's a refreshing caffeinated drink that can cause you to stay awake till wee hours of the morning if you gobble up one Medium Cup in the late evening (at least that what happened to me!).
The Ice Milk tea comes on a separate cup of ice tea (With sugar) and a few capsules of milk where you add them in yourself. I have great fun doing so because it's a lot of flexibility and personalization in which you get to choose how much milk you want to have in your cup. For those who are lactose-intolerant, (well my friend is), fear not! My lactose-intolerant friend added 5 capsules on his LARGE ice milk tea and had no trouble. Of course, don't take a risk if you'd have a super huge reaction against milk.
This Teriyaki Chicken Burger is topped with sweet brown sauce and a patty that has tough, juicy meat for you to sink your teeth in. The fluffy bread is also taken into deep consideration as it goes really well with the meat. However, the portion is really small for guys (MALE GENDERS).
Thus, my friend ended up buying a Hokkaido croquette ($3+). It wasn't that tasty, in fact the croquette was quite oily and I was quite sure he regretted buying it. However it does a great job of filling up his stomach (and mine too!).
Initially my friend was asking if the coffee in Mos burger was good because it's not freshly brewed with espresso machines. So I said 'no'. But I was pleasantly surprised that their coffee was quite good too! Well the caffeine is really strong (because I couldn't sleep until the 3rd watch of the night). It's smooth texture with a sweet aroma is something that you can get at premium coffee outlets, thus MOS burger do actually make quite good coffee too! The coffee cost about $2.And I've been told that a lot of people don't know what MOS stands for. If I'm not wrong, it's actually Mountain, Ocean and Sky, thus don't be surprised if you receive cups or burger wrapped with pictures of mountains/ocean/sky. I really love the simple layout of the fast food outlet, and how the restaurant actually hires senior citizens and really old adults to serve. Although the service was really really slow, I'm still quite pleased because it helped me to learn to be patient with the ageing population of our society and it gives them a purpose in their season of their lives!
