What could be more comforting than a bowl of hot soup and perhaps with noodle to go along on a rainy day? It has been raining pretty often these days and the cold weather has been getting me craving for noodle with hot soup more often from here. This no-frill noodle stall has been well hidden away at a little corner near Potong Pasir MRT, parking can be quite an issue if you come by here during weekends. The shop is just a stone's throw from the famous prawn noodle. If you are a regular customer of that prawn noodle shop then you should know where this stall is.
This has been my comfort food especially so on cold rainy days. My favorite has always been Mee Kia with extra chilli then topped with braised mushroom. The star has gotta been that bowl of hot soup with full of different ingredients like minced meat, lean meat, slices of fishcake, dried chinese seaweed etc. The soup has got a nice sweetness that obtained from all these ingredients. I am absolutely loving it.
